A daily affirmation can help us in calming the nerves, conditioning our minds so as to help us remain focused, mentally preparing us for the challenges associated with the task at hand and giving us a sense of purpose.
Here’s what a daily affirmation will have,
(1) identify your MAIN ROLE (yes, even though it’s quite obvious, we still need to remind ourselves because we tend to hold down several roles at the same time),
(2) list down What you Enjoy Most about your work because sometimes, we forget to live in the present and the things which we love most have a tendency to slip by without us noticing it.
(3) identify How you want to FEEL about it because if you don’t, your feelings will get the better of you. Choose to focus on feelings which will empower you to reach your goals.
(4) identify your PURPOSE and how you see yourself in the larger scheme of things. we live in a world where we constantly have to multitask and it’s really easy to forget the reason why we do what we do in the first place.
