A Different Perspective on Handling Tantrums

I was brought up in a time when all misbehaviors were handled with a tight slap right across the face, and I’m sure I’m not the only person who grew up that way. Some of my friends grew up being shouted at by their parents, threatened, spanked, nagged at, grounded, and embarrassed publicly as a means of teaching us a lesson on not throwing a tantrum.

However, if you are a mom like me, who knows deep in my heart that there are better, more effective ways of handling it, then you will find this video to be the answer to all your questions about dealing with tantrums because this video offers a different way of looking at tantrums, which could change the way you feel about it, prevent it and deal with it in ways that builds the child up rather than to tear him apart.

Enjoy this video…..

Now that you have watched the video, do you feel that it has provided you with a different perspective about why tantrums happen and how best to avoid it?
